After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, I joined Touche Ross and Co. (later Deloitte). Over the next several years I earned my C.P.A accreditation and was exposed to a variety of corporate clients. One of my first, and favorite, audit clients was Mid South Building Supply.
In the early 1980’s Mid South was undergoing a shift from family leadership to outside leadership and I was offered the role as Controller. In 1985, together with our president, Mel Rosenblatt, we engineered a buyout from our owner, Norman Rales through a leveraged ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan); becoming one of the first 100% employee owned, fully bank financed ESOP’s in the country.
I feel privileged to have held a leadership position with Mid South for 40 years and to have helped develop an experienced management team. The ESOP has created an environment of shared ownership that has helped us retain a talented and dedicated group of people who live our motto – 100% Employee Owned, 100% Customer Committed.
President / COO
I have been an employee owner of Mid South since being hired as a Customer Service Representative in 1984. My 37+ years has introduced me to many roles and responsibilities. After 3 months on the Customer Service counter, I was introduced to Outside Sales. This is where I found my true appreciation for our customers, the contractors. The respect I gained for this group of people is still growing each and every day.
As our company started to grow, I moved back inside to the role of Operations Manager in 1989. Here I was able to work with every department that serviced our customer, with an understanding of our customer’s expectations learned while being in Outside Sales.
As we began to open locations (Winchester ’91, Fredericksburg ’94) my role became more broad than just our Springfield branch. How does a company get individual locations to work together, structure them similarly, and yet give them autonomy due to their unique geography? In 1996, I was promoted to Executive Vice President. I stayed in that role for 23 years during the expansion from 3 to 8 locations. In 2019, I became President/COO of Mid South.
Branch Manager - Springfield
I am the Branch Manager of the Springfield, Virginia location and my Mid South career began on June 1994 when I was hired in to work the Customer Service counter. This was a little daunting as I did not have any "construction" experience but I did have years of customer service experience as a bartender. In January of 1995, I accepted a position in Outside Sales at the Winchester, Virginia branch. This was short lived and I was back on the counter in Springfield in May 1995. January 1998 presented with new opportunity, as Warehouse manager. I held this position for 2 years and in January of 2000 was promoted to Operations Manager.
The experience and knowledge I have gained in these different positions eventually led me to be named Branch Manager in Springfield in January of 2005, a position I have held ever since. I have generally had more direct reports than most anyone in the company. When I was originally interviewing with Mid South, our President mentioned he was looking to hire people who wanted to retire here ... I can honestly say that is my goal!
With a wealth of experience in the Kitchen & Bath industry dating back to 1977, Ken joined the Mid South team in November 2012, bringing with him his unique combination of skills and ability to see projects from all perspectives.
His work as a third generation custom cabinet maker and carpenter in residential and commercial construction has heavily influenced, improved and complimented Ken’s design skills, allowing him to develop a perspective for anticipating challenges and creating solutions for his clients. Ken strives to exceed his clients’ expectations via his strong design abilities, enhanced customer service skills, and his project management responsibilities.
Ken brings an attention to detail and a dedication to customer satisfaction to each project he works on, as well as a keen aptitude for problem solving. Let Ken help take the mystery out of your next project and bring your dream kitchen or bath to life!
Forrest was born and raised in Hanover, Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Management/Administration. After graduation, Forrest stepped into retail management which provided him with some very useful knowledge and skills. Forrest learned the value of customer service and how important it is to build positive relationships with the customers you work with on a daily basis.
Towards the end of 2020, Forrest began looking for other job opportunities. His father was working for a home builder in Hanover County and after speaking with him numerous times, Forrest knew he wanted to do something in the home building/remodeling industry. In November 2020, Forrest was hired to work the Customer Service counter at our Richmond location. Working as Inside Sales gave Forrest the opportunity to learn our products inside and out, as well as learn first-hand the daily operations that are vital to our success and keeping the customer satisfied.
A Outside Sales position opened up in January 2022 and Forrest was offered the position. He gladly accepted the role and is very excited for the opportunity to build relationships with our customers and help them meet their goals!
Emily is a graduate of an NKBA accredited design program at Virginia Tech, Residential Environments and Design. She has been a Designer with Mid South Building Supply, Inc. since 2015 and is currently the Showroom Manager of our Ashburn, Virginia location.
Emily had the unique and fulfilling opportunity to design our Ashburn showroom which opened in the summer of 2018. She designed the showroom with balance of classic styles and inspirational current trends. The showroom is a visual explanation for customers to set expectations and allow them to touch and feel what they can bring into their own home. In 2019, Emily (and the showroom) was awarded the Innovative Showroom award presented by the NKBA.
In her free time, Emily enjoys visiting local wineries and breweries, working on DIY home projects with her husband, and spending time with her yellow lab, Barley.
Vice President of Installation Services
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in Spring 1991 with a BS Major in Communications specializing in Public Relations, I joined Independent Wholesale Distributor Howard Supply Company in Chester, Virginia and quickly rose to the level of Branch Manager. In August 1993 I was hired by Mid South as a Customer Service Representative to the Springfield, Virginia location. In the Spring of 1994, I transferred to Richmond, Virginia to become Mid South's first full-time employee in the Richmond market as an Outside Sales Representative; allowing me to reconnect with many of my customers and clients established while working for Howard Supply.
After developing the Richmond territory for 2 years and building annual sales to over $1 million, I transferred back to Springfield where I took over the “Inside the Beltway” sales territory and earned Mid South Salesperson of the Year in 1997. Over the next 2 years working on many commercial projects and learning from skilled Installers, I took on a newly established position as Installation Manager within Mid South's Installation Services department; managing mostly window and door installation projects.
Over the last 21 years, I have developed Installation Services to grow the division to more than $12 million in annual sales across our 3 exterior programs (Window/Door - Siding/Trim - Roofing). In August 2019, I was promoted to Vice President on Installation Services where I oversee all exterior installation projects, while cultivating the culture engrained within my 28+ years at Mid South.
Joe Crabtree has been designing, selling, and managing Kitchen & Bath projects for 20+ years and truly enjoys what he does! Prior to that Joe was in outside and inside sales of various products, owned his own business, worked in the carpentry and plumbing trades as well as working in the electrical industry.
Joe joined the Mid South team at the Fredericksburg branch after about 10 years of traveling to southern Maryland daily, where he designed, sold and managed all aspects of the Kitchen & Bath remodeling process including installation. In addition, Joe worked closely with various vendors in acquiring and implementing new product resources to better serve clients. Over the years Joe has worked with various builders throughout his career from custom to the more production oriented. He really enjoys seeing all aspects of a project come together with a beautiful home as the end result.
Joe’s vast array of experience in design, sales and project management (in both remodeling and new construction) has taught him that understanding a clients’ needs and expectations is the key to creating a design that serves them both functionally and aesthetically. Joe feels a successful project is accomplished by a combination of listening and conveying key points of the project to the client effectively.
Branch Manager - Winchester
After serving in the military and a brief stint in banking, I was hired at Mid South to load delivery trucks during the night shift in our Springfield, Virginia location. Often times I would work an extended shift and continue with deliveries the next morning. After 6 months, a position on the Customer Service counter opened up and I transitioned to Inside Sales at the Springfield branch. Working the front counter gave me a quick, and much needed, education in the construction industry. Soon after, an Outside Sales position opened up and I was given the chance to go “on the road”. At first, I was the Commercial Sales Rep, but eventually my territory consisted of D.C. and everything east of 95 down to Prince William County, encompassing all contractors and builders, not only commercial but also residential business as well.
The decision was made to open our branch in Richmond and in 1997, I had the opportunity to be the Operations Manager under my brother Robert, the Branch Manager at the time. It was great for me to be able to work with Robert and do all things necessary to start a branch from the ground up. I enjoyed my year in Richmond and then returned to Springfield as Operations Manager.
When an opportunity to be the Branch Manager in Winchester became available, I jumped at it. I moved my young family to Winchester in 1999 and have held that position ever since.
Fred has experienced all different aspects of the Building, Restoration, and Remodeling Industry as a whole. As a Class A Licensed Contractor with over 20 years of knowledge of construction and design processes. In addition, Fred has now devoted his attention to Mid South Building Supply as a Full Time Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry Designer.
His design inspiration is from the joint effort and collaboration of the customers input and expectations, along with his previous experiences and challenges of hands on design and installation.
Fred proudly served in the United States Navy. He devotes his spare time to God, his Wife, and his family. He enjoys golfing and fishing as well as other sports.
Vice President of Kitchen Operations
I have been an Employee Owner of Mid South Building Supply, Inc. since being hired as an Inside Sales Representative on June 24, 2002.
My time at Mid South has introduced me to a few different roles, all of which created great opportunities for my career. After six months in Sales, I was identified as more of an “operations” Employee Owner and I transitioned in to our Installation Services department, initially scheduling window / door installations and services. One year, I became the Siding Installation Program Manager. In this role, I was able to develop a turnkey Siding Installation Program for our valued clients.
In 2004, I transitioned to Kitchen Installation, where I initially became Director of Customer Service and oversaw the daily operations of the Service Department of our Kitchen Installation Division. In 2007, I was the Employee Elected Board Member and ESOP Trustee and remained in the role until 2020 when I became a full member of the Board of Directors and ESOP Trustees.
In 2010, I was promoted to the position of Director of Operations for our Kitchen Installation department. I have stayed in that role for 10 years overseeing all aspects of our Kitchen Installation Division for our new construction builders. In the summer of 2020, I took on the new role of Vice President of Kitchen Operations overseeing all aspects of the Kitchen Installation department.
Bill started his career in the building industry after graduating High School. What started out as an Inside Sales position has led him to a lifelong career in the building supply industry. From early on as a Lumber Manager to now, 30-some years as a Kitchen Designer at Mid South Building Supply, Inc. Bill has gained a great deal of experience throughout his career in the building industry but has most enjoyed meeting and working with new people, employees and clients alike.
When not working Bill enjoys time spent with his wife Rose of 40 years and their 2 children, their spouses and 7 granddaughters. Bill’s favorite past time is riding out in his modern version of a muscle car and listening to rock-n-roll music. He also enjoys spending time on the porch in rural, central Virginia with his dogs by his side and wildlife abound.
Doreen joined Mid South Building Supply, Inc. in 2021 as the Territory Sales Manager for the Richmond Virginia and surrounding areas. She covers our interior building products within the Cabinetry Division. Doreen spent many years as an Account Manager for a large cabinetry manufacturer where she worked with Kitchen and Bath Designers, training them on cabinetry products and current design trends, as well as helping with the sales process.
Doreen has been involved in the construction and design field most of her career and has a BFA in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and likes outdoor activities such as hiking and photography.
Peggy is a passionate and creative individual who was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In the early 1980’s, she was living in one of the highest unemployed towns in the country and moved to the eastern side of the state seeking employment. Working as an Executive Secretary of a multi-location Home Improvement store, she quickly became interested and excited about pursuing a career in the Kitchen & Bath Design industry. At that time, Kitchen & Bath design was all hand-drafted, and this appealed to both her creative and analytical traits.
In her first 10 years in the industry, Peggy’s skills grew as digital designing replaced drafting, and manufacturers expanded their offerings from minimum doors styles, wood species and cabinetry choices to unlimited selections. She moved to Virginia in 1993, where she raised her two beautiful children. Peggy is now an accomplished Designer, having taken on projects both big and small. She takes pride in creating spaces for her customers that are both beautiful and functional, regardless of their budget.
My name is Brendon Ferraiuolo and I am the Mid South Territory Sales Manager for Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, and Falls Church. I joined Mid South in November of 2020 working in the showroom as an inside sales and customer support representative. Prior to that I spent four years working for CJ Builders on home construction projects including additions, remodels, and new builds. I started off as a laborer and was quickly promoted to a Project Manager. I’ve always had a great deal of interest in the construction industry and truly feel I’ve found a home at Mid South and couldn’t be more excited to continue advancing my career at this great company!
A little bit about myself… I’m a HUGE sports fan… doesn’t matter what sport! In fact, I have played sports for as long as I can remember! My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and the Nationals. I also enjoy golfing and spending time with family and friends. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and currently reside in Fairfax, Virginia.
Rebecca joined Mid South in the midst of the opening of the Midlothian showroom in Summer 2016. Prior to then, she shuffled around in all fields regarding residential and commercial design. Rebecca is a Graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and she is currently continuing coursework for NKBA’s Associate Certification. Trend forecasting, organization and product knowledge are her strong suits.
She is overly excited for design, functionality and timeless aesthetics and has a diverse portfolio. Listening to clients’ desires, understanding their budget and guiding them in the right direction enables her to demonstrate a rapid and stress-free selections process.
If not at work, Rebecca enjoys walking around the city with her dog, reading on her balcony, listening to music, taking photographs and traveling as much as possible. Spending time exploring inspires her to find alternative solutions for her projects and encourages constant creativity.
Camp Hill, PA
Regina began her career in 2001 after graduating from Art College with a degree in Graphic Design. Her interest for home imporvement and design began when Regina's high school teacher introduced her class to home floor plans. Regina got her first job with hand drawn layouts of home plans and kitchen layouts she had drawn as a hobby throughout high school and college. That job provided a great training program that taught Regina what she needed to know to start a career as a Kitchen & Bath Designer. Throughout her career, Regina has gained experience in all facets of the design process, from reading architectural blue prints and measuring job sites, to talking installers and finishers through the final details of the project. Before coming to Mid South, Regina designed two showrooms for previous employers and later worked as an independent Kitchen and Bath Designer.
Regina’s favorite parts of her job are problem solving tricky spaces and unusual issues that require unique design solutions, and walking her clients through the process of learning about cabinetry so they can make informed decisions about their project.
At home, Regina enjoys spending time with her three children, her partner Dennis, his sister Tyra and the 4 family cats.
Hollis has been in this industry for more than 25 years designing commercial and residential spaces. Her expertise extends far beyond the design software program and into the field. Having this knowledge and background makes her uniquely qualified to work with builders, contractors, and homeowners. She breaks down and clearly explains the decisions behind her designs. Homeowners depend on her expert guidance to have the ideas they envision brought to life.
For her, the real pleasure in business is conceptualizing unique architectural design solutions by optimizing space and function. Hollis takes pride in ensuring the details are accurate and the job is executed flawlessly on each and every project.

Stuart came to Mid South with over 25 years of kitchen, bath and design-experience. Recently, Stuart has parted ways with Cabinet Works Group where he held the position of Account Manager/Sales and Marketing Representative in support of the KraftMaid brand. In addition to his 16-year tenor with KraftMaid, Stuart has several years outside sales experience managing accounts in government, defense, and assemble/manufacturing industries.
While attending college, Stuart earned his kitchen, bath and design stripes from the ground up working in a major big box retailer. Stuart obtained a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland and continued his studies post-graduation in industrial engineering and CAD.
Stuart is the Showroom Manager and Lead Designer for our newest Design Center, located in Columbia, Maryland.
Tim was born, raised, and still resides in Orange County. He became an Employee Owner with Mid South in September 2002. His personal interest in construction and woodworking made the move from commercial cabinetry sales to residential cabinetry sales an easy transition.
With his knowledge of our full range of products, Tim will work with you and your contractor in the field to determine what works best for your project.
When he is not at work, you will find Tim serving as the pastor of his church, hunting, fishing, playing golf, or with his wife at a baseball field somewhere - watching one of their three boys play.
Tim started with Mid South in March of 1994 – with plan of being a temporary worker as he secured his job as being a Fire Fighter. Well 27 years later – Tim is still with Mid South and has held a variety of positions within the company. Tim was initially hired to set up and help open up the Fredericksburg location, from there he moved into Customer Service at the front counter where he quickly became familiar with the products and clients. Tim was given the opportunity to step into the role of Territory Sales Rep in 1996 and he has never looked back.
Tim has a vast amount knowledge in construction as he was brought up in the industry through his family's business. This experience, along with the product knowledge he has gained while working at Mid South has made Tim an extremely insightful and seasoned Sale Rep in the industry. Tim is able to help support his customers, not only with selling and installing a variety of products through Mid South, but also by providing a level of expertise in the selection and design process of home improvement projects.
Kailey has been in the cabinet industry since she started her career in 2004. Before coming to Mid South, she worked for a large cabinet manufacturer for sixteen years. There, she worked in a number of capacities, allowing her to build her product knowledge and grow her overall understanding of the cabinet industry as a whole. In her roles, Kailey had the opportunity to spend time in the field with Kitchen & Bath Designers, which allowed her to keep a pulse on ever-changing trends and consumer demands and desires in the industry.
This ultimately helped her in her work with a team of Designers to successfully see the design and execute of hundreds of displays and projects in big box showrooms throughout the country. All of this provided her with the background and experience to be excited about transitioning into actually creating the designs!
As a Designer, Kailey is interested to get to know you and how you use your kitchen so that you can make the best use of your space – personalizing it to the fit and function you need, all while incorporating your personal style into the overall look. Whether it is your first house or forever home, Kailey is here to make the kitchen of your dreams a reality.
Outside of work, Kailey can be found raising her two active and busy boys (and dog), running, or spending time having fun with family and friends.
Chris Klepatzki has done just about every job imaginable at Mid South since starting in the Springfield warehouse in 1989. He has managed our Fredericksburg branch, steered the kitchen installation department through the boom years of the early 2000’s, and directed the window & door installation division past the ensuing downturn. A few years ago, an opportunity came up to head West to the Winchester market and get back to his favorite thing to do for the company, selling our products & services.
Over 30 years of experience has its perks. There isn’t much he hasn’t seen before. He has a depth of product & sales knowledge that stands out in the industry.
When not on the road selling he enjoys anything outdoors that involves a tent or a canoe.

I am proud to say that I have been an Employee Owner of Mid South Building Supply, Inc. since I was hired as a Customer Service Representative back in October of 1996. I began my career spending my first 2 years at the Customer Service counter before accepting an Outside Sales position, and I have been a part of our Sales Team ever since. I am extremely lucky to work with, whom I consider, the best Sales Team in the industry.
With my promotion to Vice President of Sales and then on to Executive Vice President, I have be given the privilege to work with our customer base via our 9 locations. The variety of customers that I get to work with on a daily basis provides challenges and industry knowledge, helping me grow as a leader to ensure myself and our team can provide the best information and 100% commitment to our customers.
In October 2021, I will celebrate 25 years as an Employee Owner. I am so thankful for the experiences I have had so far and I am extremely excited for our company’s future. I look forward to having the opportunity to continue to work with our current customers and be part of the development of our future ones as well!
Branch Manager - Camp Hill
For the past 21 years, I have the privilege of managing the Camp Hill, Pennsylvania branch of Mid South Building Supply, Inc. Prior to becoming an Employee Owner at Mid South, I worked at a similar company for 21 years growing in knowledge from sales to management.
My wife and I have raised our family in Hampden Township and have made central Pennsylvania our home for the past 30 years.
Designer & Senior Sales Representative
Julie Maoury is a Senior Sales Rep and Designer with over 24 years in production & custom design. Yes, back when kitchen designs were done with a pencil and ruler on a piece of graph paper! However, her expertise and experience does not end at the kitchen. Julie enjoys working with builders, architects, and custom home-buyers to create the perfect floor plan from top to bottom. Julie began her career at Mid South in 1998 and helped lead and build the Kitchen Installation Division to a $20 million dollar business as Director of Kitchen Sales for the company.
Julie’s attempt to retire in 2010 to raise her 3 young children found her missing her passion. She kept herself busy doing part time Sales and Design with a local remodeler designing kitchens, basements and in many cases, whole-home re-designs.
In 2015, Julie returned to Mid South full time to fulfill her passion for Sales and Design in new construction. Julie is so happy to have returned to her old stomping grounds and to be working with her builders, both old and new. At the end of the day, Julie takes pride in a happy customer.
I joined the Mid South Family in April of 2005, in the Window and Siding Installation Services division. This is where I spent 7 years learning the ins and outs of the installation side of our business. Taking on everything from measuring, scheduling with homeowners and our customers, quoting and ordering the products Mid South has to offer. I then moved to an Inside Sales Support role assisting Mike Laitinen and his sales group in multiple rolls across all the branches. Next I moved into a more prominent Customer Service position at the Springfield counter for several years. This role provided me the opportunity to work more with our walk-in customer base while still supporting the Sales team.
With recent changes in Mid South’s management group, I was offered the opportunity to become the Fredericksburg Branch Manager, and I didn’t waste any time in accepting. I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Kevin Hale during the initial transitional months to help ease the shift to my new market. I am so excited for the new adventure and to be relocating my family to the Route 17 corridor. I am looking forward to meeting a new (to me) customer base while still maintaining relationships with those I have helped for so many years in the Springfield area.
Erica was born and raised in South Jersey, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had the wonderful opportunity to attend Virginia Tech for 4 years where she earned her degree in Residential Environments and Design with a minor in Consumer Studies. Erica obtained an internship with a local Kitchen & Bath Design firm for 8 weeks even with the COVID-19 obstacles. She continued to work part-time during the second half of her Senior Year while at college. With this hands-on experience and her college major, Erica was able to step right into her current position of Cabinetry Designer at Mid South
Erica has always loved solving all types of puzzles and has the skills to approach each cabinet design like a creative challenge. When she is not designing, Erica enjoys painting, gardening, and cooking.
Erica’s main goal at Mid South is to create an enjoyable design process within the client’s needs and budget. She absolutely wants the process to end with a successful and loved kitchen or bathroom. Erica looks forward to owning a home someday so she can design her own spaces.
Ed is not your typical Kitchen & Bath Designer, in that his years of experience and ability to think outside the box will set him apart from the rest. Before joining Mid South as an Inside Sale Representative in 1996, Ed grew up in the building supply industry working for a family-owned kitchen/bath and appliance dealer. When it comes to skill-set he has done it all...he has torn out old kitchens, installed the new, delivered and installed every appliance there is.
Ed is well versed in every type of cabinet construction from high-end custom, to Ready-To-Assemble thanks to over 40 years of design and space planning experience. Ed will handle your project with care from start to finish, guiding you through the selection and design process and into the final stage of installation. Whether it is a kitchen, bath, or a whole home project you will love the space he can help you create!
Taylor, born and raised in Virginia, has always had an eye for design and creativity. She experienced constant exposure to home improvement projects and innovation, helping her dad construct a new deck or design and build a home movie theater. Before graduating high school, she and her twin sister filmed, edited and produced movies, attended culinary school in Germany, and designed several spaces in her family home.
Taylor’s official design career began at Virginia Tech where she graduated with a Residential Environments and Design major and a Small Business and Entrepreneurship cognate. Her first exposure to the Kitchen & Bath industry was through her internship with Mid South in the Summer of 2019. After the internship concluded, Taylor realized this is where she belonged, so she decided to continue working for Mid South as an Assistant Designer while continuing to finish her senior year of college. This allowed her to progress to a full-time Designer at the Ashburn showroom upon graduation.
One of Taylor’s favorite aspects of designing kitchens and bathrooms is ensuring that the space is not only beautiful, but is also functional and meets the unique needs and wants of each client.
Michael has been working in the Kitchen & Bath Industry for 20+ years as a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, and a Cabinet Manufacturers Representative. He comes to Mid South with much experience and knowledge of the Kitchen & Bath industry along with Residential/Commercial Carpentry. Michael is certified with a title of “Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer” through the National Kitchen & Bath Association, where he traveled all over the country to receive his formal training.
In his youth, he was trained as a Carpenter through the Naval Construction Battalion Training Center in Gulfport, MS and the Carpenters’ Union Apprenticeship Training Program in Baltimore, MD. He is a Veteran of the Armed Services. Michael’s desire to become a Designer was a result of the culmination of his life experiences. As far back as a child playing with Lincoln Logs, working with his father on projects around the house, becoming a professional Carpenter, onto more creative aspects of the building process of set and lighting design for professional regional theatres, then becoming the Kitchen & Bath Design Professional he is today, Michael’s passion for designing and building has always been a constant.
Branch Manager - Richmond
I came to Mid South in 1997, right when we opened our Richmond, Virginia location. I started on the ground floor in Customer Service / Inside Sales. Less than a year later, I was offered and accepted the role of Outside Sales Representative. A few years after that I was promoted to Sales Manager, a position I held until being promoted to my current position. After 30 dedicated years, my predecessor, Robert DeChristopher, decided on an early retirement and I have since taken over the role of Branch Manager. It is an honor to work with such loyal and talented folks and I consider this my home away from home!
When I am not working hard to assist our customers I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Stephanie of 22 years, and our 3 beautiful daughters! In addition when not working you can find me on the golf course, working in the yard or spending time at the beach!
Eddie Payne has worked with Mid South Building Supply, Inc. as a Sales Representative in the Fredericksburg region since 1990. Eddie has served as Mid South’s representative on the Fredericksburg Area Builder’s Association (FABA) for more than 30 years and has earned the distinguished honor of being named a Life Director by the FABA Board. He enjoys being a member of the FAB foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) organization, that provides grant money for education, equipment or apprenticeships for young adults who seek to build a career in the building industry.
Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Eddie has long-standing relationships with his customers and industry partners, and a vested interest in his community.
Jan has enjoyed working in the Kitchen & Bath industry for over 20 years. She has a passion for design and for helping people make their design dreams a reality. Providing the client with something they love at a price they can feel good about is high priority. Jan focuses on listening to the client, assessing the space and then coming up with a plan that checks all of the boxes. That means taking the time to discuss the current space’s issues, and showing them new solutions to old problems. It also means demonstrating the ways in which the new space can improve their everyday lives. Small things can make a big difference.
Jan likes to focus on the details and she likes to use all of the space efficiently, sometimes that means thinking about how a space will be used and then adding accessories that fit the needs. It also means not wasting space. If there is a small space left over, let’s add a spice pull out or a place for cookie sheets. It may also mean upgrading to a line that offers modifications when something isn’t available in the standard line. Clients do not always know what is available and Jan believes in educating the clients to help them get a better product. Many clients are willing to spend the extra money if they can see the value of doing so.
We all want to be more organized, more efficient and enjoy our homes, and that is what Jan strives for with her clients – creating spaces they love to call home!
Bill has been in building product sales since 1986. Formerly with Mid South Building Supply of Maryland from 1986 until 2017, Bill served as Branch Manager, Kitchen Manager and as their Maryland Territory Manager while with the Maryland Mid South group. Over the years, his vast product knowledge and market experience helped Bill better serve his clients and their needs.
In the fall of 2017, Bill joined the sales team at Mid South Building Supply, Inc. in Virginia. In his new role, Bill continues to serve contractors and builders in the Maryland and DC marketplaces. Bill is especially excited that Mid South will be opening a NEW KITCHEN SHOWROOM in Columbia, Maryland in late fall of 2021!
In his free time, Bill enjoys golfing, and spending time with his wife Sherri, son Adam and their lovable Cockapoo, Ace.
James spent several years working for a large Design/Build firm and has an extensive knowledge in all phases of Kitchen & Bath remodeling. As a recognized expert in 2020 Kitchen Design Software and over 3 decades of design experience, James can help bring your project to a successful conclusion.
Previously, he was a regional trainer in the kitchen department for a large Home Improvement retailer. James attended George Mason University where he studied Graphic Design and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler. Being a true “out of the box thinker”, he enjoys the challenges associated with remodeling. James takes pride in the many successful projects he has helped his clients complete over the past years, and looks forward to working with you on your project.
James has been with the Mid South family for over 15 years, and spends most of his off-time with his 3 children and remodeling an old farm house in Historic Clifton, Virginia.
Recently celebrating 7 years with Mid South (2020), Mimi plays a dual role in the Cabinet Division not only in Sales but also in Design. Prior to joining Mid South, Mimi spent 25 years with a notable custom homebuilder in the area grater Harrisburg Pennsylvania. The company's need for an Automated Accounting System led Mimi to discover her knack for reading blueprints could offer a more creative opportunity within the company...leading her to discover her love for architecture. Creating and designing a client's dream home coupled with the attention to detail (the result of an Accounting degree) brought Mimi to her current position with Mid South.
Mimi is Mom to (2) amazing children, her daughter (the oldest) graduated from IUP specializing in Marketing is also a member of the Mid South team. Her son is the reason she joined Mid South in 2014. As her son entered High School, Mimi wanted the opportunity to be a "Soccer Mom" to the nth degree... joining the Mid South team offered her the flexibility to work and never miss a practice or game in 4 years.
Nick was born and raised in Reston, VA. He is a graduate of George Mason University with a business degree in Marketing. He has been with Mid south since 2012 and is currently the Territory Sales Representative for Loudoun and Fairfax County.
Nick comes with a decade of knowledge and experience from the industry. Whether it be regarding Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry or Exterior Building Materials, Nick is committed to helping grow your business.

From a young age, Kimberly had two main interests: interior design and working with children. When heading off to college, the kids won. Her degree in elementary education first came in handy as a preschool teacher, then while homeschooling her own six children, but she was always scheming about ways to make design her second career. She has done everything from paint color consulting and sewing window coverings, to marble and granite sales. She has also remodeled the kitchens in all four homes she and her husband have owned, so kitchen design just made sense.
Nearly 4 years into her second career, Kimberly is an NKBA Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), and is thoroughly enjoying her newest position as the Designer/Showroom Manager at Mid South’s Charlottesville location. She loves developing relationships with her clients and creating the most functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces their budgets will allow. She especially appreciates the puzzle-like challenge of maximizing existing spaces in older homes. Kimberly is known for her personable nature, patience, and attention to every detail. When not at the showroom, she is still passionately perusing an Internet full of kitchen designs and continuing her education in every way possible, along with spending time with her husband and six kids, whom she adores.
Devon’s passion for construction began at a young age as his family home was being remodeled. His career began in new construction as an Installer of vinyl siding then transitioned into the remodeling side of the industry over the next 15 years, learning other trades along the way. It was during that time that Devon actually became a customer of Mid South and appreciated the level of service they provided. The last 7 years Devon has served as a Territory Sales Rep for the exterior building products offered through the Camp Hill, Pennsylvania branch.
He enjoys working with customers to find solutions for their doors, siding and window projects. Seeing the finished product on either a new house or a remodeled home provides Devon with a strong sense of pride and fulfillment.
In his free time, Devon enjoys hunting, golfing or pretty much any outdoor activity. His two teenage daughters keep life hopping and always provide plenty of entertainment!
