AJ lives in Hummelstown, PA, and graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate Degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. He began his career in the HVAC field before moving into the fire alarm installation industry, where he gained valuable technical and customer-facing experience. AJ enjoys meeting new people and building strong relationships, and he is excited to bring that passion into his role in Sales at Mid South—helping customers find the right solutions to bring their projects to life.

In his free time, AJ enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, and cheering on PSU football.

With a wealth of experience in the Kitchen & Bath industry dating back to 1977, Ken joined the Mid South team in November 2012, bringing with him his unique combination of skills and ability to see projects from all perspectives.

His work as a third generation custom cabinet maker and carpenter in residential and commercial construction has heavily influenced, improved and complimented Ken’s design skills, allowing him to develop a perspective for anticipating challenges and creating solutions for his clients. Ken strives to exceed his clients’ expectations via his strong design abilities, enhanced customer service skills, and his project management responsibilities.

Ken brings an attention to detail and a dedication to customer satisfaction to each project he works on, as well as a keen aptitude for problem solving. Let Ken help take the mystery out of your next project and bring your dream kitchen or bath to life!

Forrest was born and raised in Hanover, Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Management/Administration. After graduation, Forrest  stepped into retail management which provided him with some very useful knowledge and skills. Forrest learned the value of customer service and how important it is to build positive relationships with the customers you work with on a daily basis.

Towards the end of 2020, Forrest began looking for other job opportunities. His father was working for a home builder in Hanover County and after speaking with him numerous times, Forrest knew he wanted to do something in the home building/remodeling industry. In November 2020, Forrest was hired to work the Customer Service counter at our Richmond location. Working as Inside Sales gave Forrest the opportunity to learn our products inside and out, as well as learn first-hand the daily operations that are vital to our success and keeping the customer satisfied. 

A Outside Sales position opened up in January 2022 and Forrest was offered the position. He gladly accepted the role and is very excited for the opportunity to build relationships with our customers and help them meet their goals!

Emily is an alumna of the NKBA-accredited design program in Residential Environments and Design at Virginia Tech. She began her career with Mid South as a design intern in 2014 and has been expanding her role ever since.

In 2018, Emily had the unique and fulfilling opportunity to design our Ashburn showroom, which won the "Innovative Showroom" award presented by the NKBA. Since then, she has advanced from a designer to a management position, where she discovered her passion for supporting, training, and coaching our designers across all nine locations.

Emily has been involved in numerous projects within the company to enhance business efficiency and the overall customer experience, providing her with a well-rounded perspective of the company and everything we offer.

In her free time, Emily enjoys visiting local wineries and breweries, working on DIY home projects with her husband, and spending time with their 3 young boys and their yellow lab, Barley.

After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in Spring 1991 with a BS Major in Communications specializing in Public Relations, I joined Independent Wholesale Distributor Howard Supply Company in Chester, Virginia and quickly rose to the level of Branch Manager.  In August 1993 I was hired by Mid South as a Customer Service Representative to the Springfield, Virginia location.  In the Spring of 1994, I transferred to Richmond, Virginia to become Mid South's first full-time employee in the Richmond market as an Outside Sales Representative; allowing me to reconnect with many of my customers and clients established while working for Howard Supply.

After developing the Richmond territory for 2 years and building annual sales to over $1 million, I transferred back to Springfield where I took over the “Inside the Beltway” sales territory and earned Mid South Salesperson of the Year in 1997.  Over the next 2 years working on many commercial projects and learning from skilled Installers, I took on a newly established position as Installation Manager within Mid South's Installation Services department; managing mostly window and door installation projects.

Over the last 21 years, I have developed Installation Services to grow the division to more than $12 million in annual sales across our 3 exterior programs (Window/Door - Siding/Trim - Roofing). In August 2019, I was promoted to Vice President on Installation Services where I oversee all exterior installation projects, while cultivating the culture engrained within my 28+ years at Mid South.

After serving in the military and a brief stint in banking, I was hired at Mid South to load delivery trucks during the night shift in our Springfield, Virginia location. Often times I would work an extended shift and continue with deliveries the next morning. After 6 months, a position on the Customer Service counter opened up and I transitioned to Inside Sales at the Springfield branch.  Working the front counter gave me a quick, and much needed, education in the construction industry. Soon after, an Outside Sales position opened up and I was given the chance to go “on the road”.  At first, I was the Commercial Sales Rep, but eventually my territory consisted of D.C. and everything east of 95 down to Prince William County, encompassing all contractors and builders, not only commercial but also residential business as well.

The decision was made to open our branch in Richmond and in 1997, I had the opportunity to be the Operations Manager under my brother Robert, the Branch Manager at the time.  It was great for me to be able to work with Robert and do all things necessary to start a branch from the ground up.  I enjoyed my year in Richmond and then returned to Springfield as Operations Manager.

When an opportunity to be the Branch Manager in Winchester became available, I jumped at it. I moved my young family to Winchester in 1999 and have held that position ever since.

Nicole is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture. She has a passion for creating impactful designs through simple concepts and enjoys developing unique solutions tailored to each project. During her academic career and internships, she cultivated a strong interest in residential design. Nicole gained hands-on experience in kitchen and bath design while working as a design and sales intern at Mid South, where she collaborated with and learned from various members of the team. She is eager to continue growing in the design field and remains committed to expanding her knowledge of products and innovative design solutions as a full-time designer with Mid South.

Fred has experienced all different aspects of the Building, Restoration, and Remodeling Industry as a whole.  As a Class A Licensed Contractor with over 20 years of knowledge of construction and design processes.  In addition, Fred has now devoted his attention to Mid South Building Supply as a Full Time Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry Designer.

His design inspiration is from the joint effort and collaboration of the customers input and expectations, along with his previous experiences and challenges of hands on design and installation.

Fred proudly served in the United States Navy. He devotes his spare time to God, his Wife, and his family. He enjoys golfing and fishing as well as other sports.

I have been an Employee Owner of Mid South Building Supply, Inc. since being hired as an Inside Sales Representative on June 24, 2002.

My time at Mid South has introduced me to a few different roles, all of which created great opportunities for my career.  After six months in Sales, I was identified as more of an “operations” Employee Owner and I transitioned in to our Installation Services department, initially scheduling window / door installations and services.  One year, I became the Siding Installation Program Manager.  In this role, I was able to develop a turnkey Siding Installation Program for our valued clients.

In 2004, I transitioned to Kitchen Installation, where I initially became Director of Customer Service and oversaw the daily operations of the Service Department of our Kitchen Installation Division.  In 2007, I was the Employee Elected Board Member and ESOP Trustee and remained in the role until 2020 when I became a full member of the Board of Directors and ESOP Trustees. 

In 2010, I was promoted to the position of Director of Operations for our Kitchen Installation department.  I have stayed in that role for 10 years overseeing all aspects of our Kitchen Installation Division for our new construction builders. In the summer of 2020, I took on the new role of Vice President of Kitchen Operations overseeing all aspects of the Kitchen Installation department.

Aaron is a Cabinetry Designer at Mid South with a background in art and interior design. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, Aaron studied Interior Design and developed a strong foundation in spatial planning, material selection, and creative problem-solving. He has always had a love for making a space both functional and visually appealing, and that passion drives his approach to cabinetry design today.

Before joining Mid South, Aaron worked as a Design Consultant for a tile company, where he gained hands-on experience with finishes, textures, and color coordination. That experience deepened his understanding of how materials work together to create balanced and inviting spaces. Aaron enjoys collaborating with homeowners and builders to design interiors that are as practical as they are beautiful—spaces that truly reflect how people live.

In his free time, he loves to fish, play pickleball, run, and paint. Whether he’s outdoors or working on a new piece of art, Aaron values time spent doing what he loves and bringing creativity into everything he does.

Doreen joined Mid South Building Supply, Inc. in 2021 as the Territory Sales Manager for the Richmond Virginia and surrounding areas.  She covers our interior building products within the Cabinetry Division. Doreen spent many years as an Account Manager for a large cabinetry manufacturer where she worked with Kitchen and Bath Designers, training them on cabinetry products and current design trends, as well as helping with the sales process.

Doreen has been involved in the construction and design field most of her career and has a BFA in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and likes outdoor activities such as hiking and photography.

Peggy is a passionate and creative individual who was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  In the early 1980’s, she was living in one of the highest unemployed towns in the country and moved to the eastern side of the state seeking employment. Working as an Executive Secretary of a multi-location Home Improvement store, she quickly became interested and excited about pursuing a career in the Kitchen & Bath Design industry. At that time, Kitchen & Bath design was all hand-drafted, and this appealed to both her creative and analytical traits.

In her first 10 years in the industry, Peggy’s skills grew as digital designing replaced drafting, and manufacturers expanded their offerings from minimum doors styles, wood species and cabinetry choices to unlimited selections. She moved to Virginia in 1993, where she raised her two beautiful children. Peggy is now an accomplished Designer, having taken on projects both big and small. She takes pride in creating spaces for her customers that are both beautiful and functional, regardless of their budget.

My name is Brendon Ferraiuolo and I am the Mid South Territory Sales Manager for Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, and Falls Church. I joined Mid South in November of 2020 working in the showroom as an inside sales and customer support representative.  Prior to that I spent four years working for CJ Builders on home construction projects including additions, remodels, and new builds. I started off as a laborer and was quickly promoted to a Project Manager. I’ve always had a great deal of interest in the construction industry and truly feel I’ve found a home at Mid South and couldn’t be more excited to continue advancing my career at this great company!

A little bit about myself… I’m a HUGE sports fan… doesn’t matter what sport! In fact, I have played sports for as long as I can remember! My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and the Nationals. I also enjoy golfing and spending time with family and friends. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and currently reside in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Ken joined Mid South in October of 2022, after spending the last two years in the countertop industry. Having graduatied from HACC with an Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology, Ken has always had a desire for design work. While designing an addition for his own home, designing his mother's kitchen and working at Lowes for years, Ken discovered that the design industry was something that he has a passion for. Ken also takes great pride in his work and bringing his talents to the client and ensure their vision comes to life Just like in any business, details are key and at Mid South details matter. One attribute that Ken is proud he has is his ability to see things out of the box, all thanks to his college professor asking the constant question, “can you picture it?”.  

In his free time, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, along with their children and grandchildren. Listening to music, managing his personal DJ business and occasional travel are what consumes most Ken's time while not designing. Ken is excited for his future at Mid South and what the future of the induistry has to offer!

Tim was born, raised, and still resides in Orange County. He became an Employee Owner with Mid South in September 2002. His personal interest in construction and woodworking made the move from commercial cabinetry sales to residential cabinetry sales an easy transition. 

With his knowledge of our full range of products, Tim will work with you and your contractor in the field to determine what works best for your project.

When he is not at work, you will find Tim serving as the pastor of his church, hunting, fishing, playing golf, or with his wife at a baseball field somewhere - watching one of their three boys play. 

Victoria Kaufman brings more than 24 years of experience in sales and management, with a career in the design industry that began in 2008. Starting in tile design, she developed a passion for combining colors, textures, and materials to create beautiful, functional spaces. In 2014, she expanded her expertise into kitchen and bath remodeling and cabinetry design, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the design and renovation process.

Throughout her career, Victoria has held both design and leadership roles, managing sales teams and working closely with homeowners and contractors. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on every stage of a project, from the initial design concept and material selections to the finished space. She enjoys finding creative solutions, maximizing functionality, and helping customers navigate the many decisions involved in bringing their vision to life.

Victoria believes great design is about more than aesthetics. It is about understanding how people live and creating spaces that reflect their individual needs, personalities, and lifestyles. She takes pride in building lasting relationships with her customers and making the design process enjoyable and rewarding. Her attention to detail, industry knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction are at the heart of every project she undertakes.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending her weekends outdoors with her son. Whether camping, fishing, hiking, or exploring somewhere new, she values the opportunity to spend time together and create lasting memories.

Kailey was born and raised in Winchester, VA. After 16 years of working for a large cabinet manufacturer, she became an employee-owner at Mid South in January 2021.

Kailey started as a scheduler for the install department but quickly had the opportunity to move into designing. Her background in marketing, coupled with her product knowledge of cabinets, served her well to start. One of her first tasks was to update the showroom in Winchester. As a designer, she enjoys getting to know clients and understanding how they will use their kitchen, enabling them to make the best use of their space and personalize it to fit the function they need, all while incorporating their personal style into the overall look. Kailey also enjoys creating, building, and maintaining relationships with her accounts. In February 2024, she earned the unique opportunity to take on a role doing both design and sales. Leveraging her breadth and depth of experience will serve as an advantage in growing sales in the Winchester market. Kailey is excited to continue her career at Mid South, learning and growing every step of the way!

Outside of work, she stays busy raising her two active teenage boys, Carson and Cash. If she's not at the football field, baseball stadium, or the wrestling mats, she can be found spending weekends with her boyfriend and his two boys in Virginia Beach, where he lives.

Chris Klepatzki has done just about every job imaginable at Mid South since starting in the Springfield warehouse in 1989.  He has managed our Fredericksburg branch, steered the kitchen installation department through the boom years of the early 2000’s, and directed the window & door installation division past the ensuing downturn.  A few years ago, an opportunity came up to head West to the Winchester market and get back to his favorite thing to do for the company, selling our products & services.

Over 30 years of experience has its perks.  There isn’t much he hasn’t seen before.  He has a depth of product & sales knowledge that stands out in the industry.

When not on the road selling he enjoys anything outdoors that involves a tent or a canoe.

Bill was introduced to Mid South in 2008 while working for a small subcontractor installing metal panels on a multi-family project in Arlington, VA—a project for which Mid South provided and installed kitchen cabinetry. Long story short, by the end of the project, Bill accepted a position in the Installation Services Department at Mid South, and he has been with this employee-owned company ever since.

Bill began his career as a Measure Technician and, over the next few years, transitioned to Project Manager, then Production Manager, eventually earning the informal title of “large projects guy.” Throughout this journey, he immersed himself in the nuts and bolts of installation.

Bill played a key role in starting and developing the Installation Services Roofing Program and the Marvin Windows Program. He continued to enhance his skills over the years before moving to the Sales Division in 2022, where he currently serves as the Multi-Family Sales Territory Representative.

Originally from the small town of Mansfield, PA, Bill now resides in Warrenton, VA, with his wife, Kelly, and their three children.

I am proud to say that I have been an Employee Owner of Mid South Building Supply, Inc. since I was hired as a Customer Service Representative back in October of 1996. I began my career spending my first two years at the Customer Service counter before transitioning into an Outside Sales role, and I’ve been a dedicated member of our Sales Team ever since.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of growing within the company, serving as Vice President of Sales and currently as Executive Vice President. These roles have allowed me to work closely with our diverse customer base across our 9 locations. The variety of challenges and experiences I’ve encountered have helped me grow both personally and professionally, continually sharpening my ability to lead and support our team with industry insight and a commitment to excellence.

As of October 2021, I proudly celebrated 25 years as an Employee Owner—and now, with nearly three decades at Mid South, I remain as passionate as ever about our mission. I am grateful for the incredible journey so far and excited about the road ahead. I look forward to continuing to build lasting relationships with our current customers while helping to shape the future of our company and its next generation of customers.

Erica was born and raised in South Jersey, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had the wonderful opportunity to attend Virginia Tech for 4 years where she earned her degree in Residential Environments and Design with a minor in Consumer Studies. Erica obtained an internship with a local Kitchen & Bath Design firm for 8 weeks even with the COVID-19 obstacles. She continued to work part-time during the second half of her Senior Year while at college. With this hands-on experience and her college major, Erica was able to step right into her current position of Cabinetry Designer at Mid South

Erica has always loved solving all types of puzzles and has the skills to approach each cabinet design like a creative challenge. When she is not designing, Erica enjoys painting, gardening, and cooking.

Erica’s main goal at Mid South is to create an enjoyable design process within the client’s needs and budget. She absolutely wants the process to end with a successful and loved kitchen or bathroom. Erica looks forward to owning a home someday so she can design her own spaces.

Doug has 18 years of construction-related experience, providing him with a solid background to comprehend all aspects of the industry. He brings over 10 years of cabinet design experience to our team, merging his extensive industry knowledge with a genuine passion for cabinet design. 

An Eagle Scout and active Assistant Scoutmaster, Doug is always up for an adventure. He loves the outdoors, whether he's hiking new trails or just enjoying the stars. Experiencing live music is also a big part of his life. A travel enthusiast, Doug enjoys exploring new places and spending quality time with his family. His energetic and fun-loving spirit is evident in both his professional and personal life.

Doug earned his Project Management Certificate from James Madison University in 2022. 

Julie Maoury is a Senior Sales Rep and Designer with over 24 years in production & custom design.  Yes, back when kitchen designs were done with a pencil and ruler on a piece of graph paper!  However, her expertise and experience does not end at the kitchen.  Julie enjoys working with builders, architects, and custom home-buyers to create the perfect floor plan from top to bottom.  Julie began her career at Mid South in 1998 and helped lead and build the Kitchen Installation Division to a $20 million dollar business as Director of Kitchen Sales for the company.

Julie’s attempt to retire in 2010 to raise her 3 young children found her missing her passion. She kept herself busy doing part time Sales and Design with a local remodeler designing kitchens, basements and in many cases, whole-home re-designs.

In 2015, Julie returned to Mid South full time to fulfill her passion for Sales and Design in new construction. Julie is so happy to have returned to her old stomping grounds and to be working with her builders, both old and new.  At the end of the day, Julie takes pride in a happy customer.

Erin brings over three years of hands-on experience in the Kitchen and Bath industry, where she has honed her expertise in design, renovation, and creative problem-solving. Over the years, she has had the pleasure of helping clients bring their dream spaces to life while ensuring high-quality results. Her background in this field has not only given her an eye for detail but also a deep appreciation for the impact thoughtful design can have on both the functionality and aesthetics of a home.

In addition to her career in kitchen and bath design, Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, which has helped her develop a unique perspective on problem-solving and human-centered design. Her education has sharpened her analytical skills, enabling her to approach challenges with both creativity and precision. Outside of work, she is passionate about adventure and exploration. She has spent time backpacking along the east coast of Australia, immersing herself in diverse environments and embracing new experiences. This journey has taught her adaptability and resilience, qualities she carries into both her personal life and professional endeavors.

Wyatt’s interest in the construction industry began at an early age as his father was a new constriction home builder. Following in his footsteps, Wyatt worked for a General Contractor learning all facets of the construction process. It was during this time he gained an appreciation for what Sales Representatives do for their customers, more specifically Mid South.

Wyatt shares that the transition to Sales Representative at Mid South has been nothing short of exciting. He most enjoys the satisfaction of working with a customer to meet their needs and watch a project come together!

In his free time, Wyatt enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and family.

I joined the Mid South Family in April of 2005, in the Window and Siding Installation Services division. This is where I spent 7 years learning the ins and outs of the installation side of our business. Taking on everything from measuring, scheduling with homeowners and our customers, quoting and ordering the products Mid South has to offer. I then moved to an Inside Sales Support role assisting Mike Laitinen and his sales group in multiple rolls across all the branches. Next I moved into a more prominent Customer Service position at the Springfield counter for several years. This role provided me the opportunity to work more with our walk-in customer base while still supporting the Sales team.   

With recent changes in Mid South’s management group, I was offered the opportunity to become the Fredericksburg Branch Manager, and I didn’t waste any time in accepting. I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Kevin Hale during the initial transitional months to help ease the shift to my new market.  I am so excited for the new adventure and to be relocating my family to the Route 17 corridor.  I am looking forward to meeting a new (to me) customer base while still maintaining relationships with those I have helped for so many years in the Springfield area.

Born and raised in Stafford, Virginia, Lainie always knew she wanted a career in the design industry. After graduating from Radford University's CIDA-accredited Interior Design program, Lainie dipped her toes into the residential design world, where she learned a lot about business, design, and software applications. Looking to further her skills, Lainie joined the Mid South family in October 2024, bringing with her a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Known for her keen eye for detail and deep understanding of current trends, she specializes in crafting personalized designs that reflect each client's unique style and needs.

Outside of her professional life, Lainie cherishes time with her two younger siblings and parents, especially their family vacation to Daytona Beach Shores every summer. She grew up as a three-sport athlete, is an avid reader always looking for her next great book, and is a devoted Swiftie. On the weekends, you can find her exploring local breweries with her friends, thrift shopping, attending concerts, or trying new restaurants in the Fredericksburg area.

Michael has been working in the Kitchen & Bath Industry for 20+ years as a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, and a Cabinet Manufacturers Representative.  He comes to Mid South with much experience and knowledge of the Kitchen & Bath industry along with Residential/Commercial Carpentry.   Michael is certified with a title of “Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer” through the National Kitchen & Bath Association, where he traveled all over the country to receive his formal training. 

In his youth, he was trained as a Carpenter through the Naval Construction Battalion Training Center in Gulfport, MS and the Carpenters’ Union Apprenticeship Training Program in Baltimore, MD.  He is a Veteran of the Armed Services. Michael’s desire to become a Designer was a result of the culmination of his life experiences.  As far back as a child playing with Lincoln Logs, working with his father on projects around the house, becoming a professional Carpenter, onto more creative aspects of the building process of set and lighting design for professional regional theatres, then becoming the Kitchen & Bath Design Professional he is today, Michael’s passion for designing and building has always been a constant.

I came to Mid South in 1997, right when we opened our Richmond, Virginia location. I started on the ground floor in Customer Service / Inside Sales. Less than a year later, I was offered and accepted the role of Outside Sales Representative. A few years after that I was promoted to Sales Manager, a position I held until being promoted to my current position. After 30 dedicated years, my predecessor, Robert DeChristopher, decided on an early retirement and I have since taken over the role of Branch Manager. It is an honor to work with such loyal and talented folks and I consider this my home away from home!

When I am not working hard to assist our customers I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Stephanie of 22 years, and our 3 beautiful daughters! In addition when not working you can find me on the golf course, working in the yard or spending time at the beach!

Brad Parker began his career as an installer in Midlothian and gradually expanded his experience across multiple areas of the industry. His background includes building custom cabinetry in his family’s cabinet shop in his hometown of Mount Airy, North Carolina—better known as Mayberry. He also co-founded and co-owned a premanufactured cabinet company that operated as an extension of his family’s custom cabinet business. During that time, he developed extensive knowledge in cabinet sales, design, project management, and overall business operations.

In 2010, Brad and his wife Courtney relocated back to Midlothian, where he has continued focusing on cabinet design ever since. Together, they have two children and a 3-year-old rescue dog, a St. Bernard mix named Binks, who he jokingly considers the biggest child of them all.

Brad enjoys camping and exploring new places with his family. When he is not camping, he can often be found at the soccer field cheering on his daughter, Sawyer, or at the Taekwondo dojo supporting his son, Grayson, who is working toward earning his black belt. In his free time, he also enjoys building LEGO sets, kayaking, and attending concerts.

In his professional work, Brad takes pride in transforming what can be a stressful process for clients into a simple and enjoyable experience.

Eddie Payne has worked with Mid South Building Supply, Inc. as a Sales Representative in the Fredericksburg region since 1990.  Eddie has served as Mid South’s representative on the Fredericksburg Area Builder’s Association (FABA) for more than 30 years and has earned the distinguished honor of being named a Life Director by the FABA Board.  He enjoys being a member of the FAB foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) organization, that provides grant money for education, equipment or apprenticeships for young adults who seek to build a career in the building industry.  

Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Eddie has long-standing relationships with his customers and industry partners, and a vested interest in his community.

Design has always been a natural part of who Kristina Russell is. She has been drawn to color, texture, and creativity for as long as she can remember, and over time she found herself equally fascinated by structure, form, and function. That balance led her to study architecture at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and later explore psychology at The Ohio State University and the University of Maryland while building real‑world experience in sales. Those years in sales allowed her to hone her customer service and interpersonal skills while teaching her about people, communication, and how environments shape the way we feel.

Along the way, Kristina also discovered a love for floral design, which has become another outlet for exploring composition and natural elements. When it comes to kitchen and bath design, she is especially inspired by transitional, farmhouse, and rustic styles, and she loves incorporating biophilic concepts as well as Feng Shui principles whenever possible. She strives to create harmony and balance in the spaces she designs. Ultimately, Kristina believes that homes should support our well‑being.

A Richmond native and VCU Interior Design alum, Brittany is an artist at heart. With nearly a decade of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, she feels most at home working with clients to create their dream spaces. While form and function are top priorities for any designer, Brittany believes that infusing the client’s personality into the space in a way that stands the test of time is the most important. As a solutions-oriented designer, Brittany enjoys collaborating with homeowners and contractors to develop intuitive layouts, offer innovative storage solutions, and create environments that foster connectivity and warmth.

An art and architecture enthusiast, Brittany finds inspiration in traveling and exploring new places. She stays creative in her downtime by working on stained glass art and small home projects. When she’s not busy creating, you can find her relaxing at home with her partner, rescued pit bulls, and a cat with thumbs, often with a glass of wine nearby.

Bailey is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she spent 4 years earning her degree in Residential Environments and Design. Her coursework helped her develop her passion for creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful for any client, regardless of budget. Bailey joined the Mid South family in November 2023 and has since expanded her knowledge by learning about various cabinet lines and working on projects ranging in scale from large commercial jobs to small home projects. She enjoys every opportunity she gets because all kitchen and bath projects are different and require creative and unique problem-solving solutions. She finds her work most successful when she has a happy customer who can enjoy their newly designed space in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Bailey was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, where she grew up with her three older siblings. When she is not designing, Bailey enjoys watching sports with her family or exploring new wineries and breweries with her friends. She grew up playing sports and still pursues that interest by participating in various rec leagues year-round. She also loves doing puzzles and traveling to the beach or lake for a relaxing getaway trip.

James spent several years working for a large Design/Build firm and has an extensive knowledge in all phases of Kitchen & Bath remodeling. As a recognized expert in 2020 Kitchen Design Software and over 3 decades of design experience, James can help bring your project to a successful conclusion.

Previously, he was a regional trainer in the kitchen department for a large Home Improvement retailer. James attended George Mason University where he studied Graphic Design and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler. Being a true “out of the box thinker”, he enjoys the challenges associated with remodeling. James takes pride in the many successful projects he has helped his clients complete over the past years, and looks forward to working with you on your project.

James has been with the Mid South family for over 15 years, and spends most of his off-time with his 3 children and remodeling an old farm house in Historic Clifton, Virginia.

Heather is a James Madison University Alumna, having received her Bachelors in Architectural/ Interior Design in 2019. She had the opportunity to travel to Vienna, Austria with one of her college classes for 5 weeks. While abroad, Heather met all kinds of designers, from jewelry makers to landscape architects. It was the trip of a life time. Heather worked closely with an interior designer prior to attending JMU and enjoyed the experiences of watching a room transform into a beautiful and functional space. After college, she worked for a cabinet manufacturer where she gained her knowledge of cabinetry while in the customer service department. Heather has always had a passion for design and being creative. She also enjoys photography and received a minor in photography while attending JMU.

What all started as a young girl who loved to re-decorate her parents’ home, especially moving furniture around in her bedroom, has lead to Heather finding her calling in design where her passion is to help others create a space they love waking up to every morning.

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her friends, family and two dogs.

Nick was born and raised in Reston, VA. He is a graduate of George Mason University with a business degree in Marketing. He has been with Mid south since 2012 and is currently the Territory Sales Representative for Loudoun and Fairfax County.

Nick comes with a decade of knowledge and experience from the industry. Whether it be regarding Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry or Exterior Building Materials, Nick is committed to helping grow your business. 

In his free time, Nick enjoys working out, fishing, and spending time with his family.

From a young age, Kimberly had two main interests: interior design and working with children. When heading off to college, the kids won. Her degree in elementary education first came in handy as a preschool teacher, then while homeschooling her own six children, but she was always scheming about ways to make design her second career.  She has done everything from paint color consulting and sewing window coverings, to marble and granite sales. She has also remodeled the kitchens in all four homes she and her husband have owned, so kitchen design just made sense.

Nearly 4 years into her second career, Kimberly is an NKBA Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), and is thoroughly enjoying her newest position as the Designer/Showroom Manager at Mid South’s Charlottesville location.  She loves developing relationships with her clients and creating the most functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces their budgets will allow. She especially appreciates the puzzle-like challenge of maximizing existing spaces in older homes.  Kimberly is known for her personable nature, patience, and attention to every detail.  When not at the showroom, she is still passionately perusing an Internet full of kitchen designs and continuing her education in every way possible, along with spending time with her husband and six kids, whom she adores.

Brent has been in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Sales for the past 10 years with HD Supply. He has been involved in the construction industry for over 20 years and enjoys building relationships, priding himself on a solution-based approach for his customers. Brent has worked on everything from commercial to residential construction and has a broad knowledge of the building industry.

Brent joined Mid-South in the fall of 2024 and serves contractors and builders in the Maryland and DC marketplaces. He will be working from our Columbia, MD branch and is excited to bring his skills to the team!

In his free time, Brent enjoys golfing, pickleball, skeet and trap shooting, and spending time with his family—Nichole, Jaxon, and their two dogs, Wilco and Millie.

My connection with residential construction began at a young age as our family home was being remodeled. After high school, my career began in new construction as an installer of vinyl siding. I transitioned into the remodeling side of the industry over the next 15 years, learning other trades along the way. I eventually became a customer of Mid South and appreciated the level of service they provided. Since 2014 I’ve served as a Territory Sales Rep for the exterior building products offered through the Camp Hill branch.
 
I’m thankful for the skilled team here in Camp Hill that our long-time manager, Stu McCoy, has assembled. As Stu looks to retire soon, I look forward to continuing his example of servant leadership as we focus on the growing new construction and remodeling market here in central PA.
